Andy Samberg on the future of Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Anyone who has a little more than the slightest interest in comedy knows who Andy Samberg is. He’s been on SNL, he’s played in Hollywood movies, he’s made music and not he stars in the Fox comedy TV series Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
When talking about his show he said that he would love to keep the current format and have guest appearances by other actors. One of his top pics is Amy Poehler whom you might know from Parks and Recreations or as one of the hosts of this year’s (and the two years before) Golden Globe Awards.
Samberg said that he would be thrilled to have Amy’s character meet his Brooklyn Nine-Nine character, Jake Peralta, in the show. When asked if he had any idea of how such an episode (or more) would look Samberg started laughing and said that it might be a week of passionate love making condensed in one episode.
Being one of the hottest personalities on the comedy scene at this moment and seeing how Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have hosted the Golden Globes for the third time (out of a maximum of three) Andy seems to be next in line. When asked how he would feel about hosting the event he said he would be thrilled to do so, however not necessarily the next edition because he would have some enormous shoes to fill. He continued to say that if he were allowed to bring any co-host he would request Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.
